Editorial Standards

Editorial Standards

How the B2BInside newsroom researches, verifies, and publishes — and the principles our contributors and partners agree to.

B2BInside is committed to accurate, independent, and transparent business journalism. These standards guide how our editors, contributors, and partners research, write, and publish every piece of content on this platform.

  • Accuracy first — every story is checked before it is published.
  • Editorial independence from advertisers, sponsors, and PR partners.
  • Clear labeling of sponsored posts and press releases.
  • Transparent sourcing and attribution.
  • Prompt, visible correction of any error.

1. Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests. Advertising, sponsorship, and PR relationships never determine what we cover or how we cover it, and our editorial team retains final say over all published content.

2. Accuracy & Fact-Checking

We verify facts, figures, names, and quotes against primary sources before publication. Statistics and claims are attributed to their origin, and we do not publish information we cannot reasonably substantiate.

3. Sourcing & Attribution

We attribute information to named sources wherever possible and are transparent about the origin of material. Content drawn from company announcements or third parties is identified as such, and we credit reporting by other outlets when we build on it.

4. Sponsored Content & Disclosure

Paid placements, sponsored articles, and press releases are clearly labeled — for example, “Sponsored” or “Press Release” — so that readers can always distinguish commercial material from independent editorial coverage.

5. Corrections & Updates

When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Significant corrections and updates are noted on the article so the change is transparent to readers.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Our writers and editors disclose any financial, personal, or professional interest in the companies, products, or topics they cover, and step back from coverage where a conflict cannot be managed.

7. Contributor & PR Submission Standards

Contributed articles and press releases are reviewed by our editorial desk and must meet our standards for accuracy, originality, and relevance to a B2B audience. We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity and style, or to decline any submission.

8. Fairness & Right of Reply

Where a story makes a significant claim about an organization or individual, we make a reasonable effort to give them an opportunity to respond before publication.

9. Reader Feedback & Complaints

We welcome feedback and take complaints seriously. If you believe something we have published is inaccurate or unfair, contact our editorial desk via our contact page and we will review it.
